Rental History
Positive landlord references with no record of fraudulent evictions within the past 3 years.
Identification & Background
Valid government-issued photo ID and a nationwide background check are required for all occupants aged 18+.
Step-by-Step Move-In Guidelines

Lease Signing & Security Deposit
Complete all digital paperwork and initial payments. Execute your rental agreement electronically via the portal and submit your initial security deposit within 24 hours of approval to secure the home.

Set Up Utilities & Services
Transfer accounts to your name prior to day one. Confirm utility accounts (such as gas & electric, water, etc.) are scheduled for transfer into your name starting on your official lease start date.

Obtain Renter's Insurance
Protect your belongings and home. Provide proof of active renter's insurance coverage (minimum $100,000 liability coverage) listing Common Forge as an interested party.

Move-In Inspection & Keys
Walk through and key exchange. Receive your digital key access or meet for physical key handover. Complete your digital move-in condition checklist within 48 hours of key pickup to document existing property conditions.
